Ken Whisenhunt is an NFL head coach again.
Whisenhunt is leaving the San Diego Chargers to become head coach of the Tennessee Titans.
The 51-year-old Whisenhunt spent six years coaching Arizona and took the Cardinals to their lone Super Bowl in 2009. He was fired Dec. 31, 2012, with a record of 45-51 in the regular season and 4-2 in the playoffs.
Whisenhunt was serving as the Chargers' offensive coordinator.
He interviewed last Thursday for the head coaching vacancy in Detroit.
