Detroit Lions receiver Calvin Johnson says nerve damage in his elbow make it tough for him to grip the ball. Johnson played through the pain to catch seven passes in the Lions' 31-14 win at Jacksonville this past Sunday. Johnson did not practice last week nor yet this week because he is also battling some knee problems. Johnson caught 16 touchdown passes last season but has just one through the Lions first 8 games this fall.
