Detroit Lions receiver Nate Burleson underwent surgery Tuesday for a broken arm after being injured overnight in a one vehicle accident. Burleson, 32, was driving home on I-696 near Farmington, west bound, when he lost control of his car and his a median barricade. The incident occured at 2:26am. Burleson said pizza was falling off the front passenger seat and he leaned over to try and secure it when the incident occured. Burleson was the Lions leading receiver this season and had six catches this last Sunday against the Washington Redskins. There is no word on how long he may be sidelined.
