Lions' Delmas Undergoes Surgery

Detroit Lions safety Louis Delmas has undergone surgery on his left knee. The four year veteran missed the final five games of last season after injuring th eknee in a Thanksgiving loss to the Green Bay Packers. Team officials say he developed soreness in the joint early in training camp in Allen Park. No word on a possible return. The Lions open pre season play at home Friday night against the Cleveland Browns and the game is a sellout.
