Lions Cut Two Veterans

The Detroit Lions, following a 4-12 season have begun cleaning house. Receiver Titus Young was cut Monday. Tuesday the Lions releaed veteran defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch and offensive guard Stephen Peterman. Vanden Bosch signed a four year $26 million deal when he arrived prior to the 2010 season. He is 34 years old. He played in 43 games and started all 16 games this past season. Peterman is 31 and also started all 16 games.
