The Detroit Lions have acquired veteran cornerback Kevin Barnes from the Washington Redskins. Barnes was a third round draft pick in 2009 by Washington. He started three games in his career and has three interceptions. The Lions have a final pre season game at home Thursday against the Buffalo Bills. Detroit is 1-2 in exhibition play and opens the regular season September 9th at home against the St. Louis Rams.
