Lansing Hockey Organizations to Merge

The programs skating out of Suburban Ice East Lansing and The Summit Sports and Ice Complex are joining together to create one united youth hockey association in Lansing. The announcement was made Friday.
Effective immediately, Lansing area youth hockey development and yhouth teams will be led by a newly unified organization that incorporates the 55-year old tradition of GLAHA (Greater Lansing Amateur Hockey Association) along with the players under the Lansing Senators umbrella and the expertise of Suburban Ice East Lansing. The ogal of local youth hockey leaders is to create a new era of cooperation that fosters ongoing player development and grows the sport in terms of participants and opportunities. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion.
