Lakers Fire Mike Brown

Former Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Mike Brown directs his team during a game. The Los Angeles Lakers reached a deal in principle with Brown on Wednesday.

Mike Brown has been fired from his job as head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers after little more than a season on their bench. After adding high profile free agents Dwight Howard and Steve Nash to their lineup, the Lakers enter Friday night's game at home against Golden State with a 1-4 record. The Lakers were 0-8 in the pre season. Assistant coach Bernie Bickerstaff will coach the Lakers against the Warriors. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion.
