The NBA has postponed Wednesday night's regular season opening game in Brooklyn between the Nets and New York Knicks because of the area devastation from Hurricane Sandy. It was to be the debut in the new $1 billion Barclays Center.
No make up date has been announced. The storm did not damage the arena, but the Nets practice center is flooded in New Jersey. The Knicks' home opener Friday against the Miami Heat is still set to go. And the New York Marathon is still scheduled to be run this Sunday.
