Kershaw Gets Extension With Dodgers

The Los Angeles Dodgers have reached agreement with their ace pitcher Clayton Kershaw on a seven year $215 million deal. Kershaw can opt out after five years. He has won the National League's Cy Young Award two of the past three years. It is the richest deal ever for a pitcher surpassing the seven year $180 million deal the Detroit Tigers gave Justin Verlander.
