Police in Oceanside, California say former NL star Junior Seau has been found dead at his home. Police responded to a shooting at 10am and believe Seau died of a self inflicted gunshot wound. He was a standout linebacker at USC before playing 20 years in the NFL, mostly for the San Diego Chargers. He retired after the 2009 season and he led the Chargers to the 1994 Super Bowl before finishing his career with the Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots. He was a twelve time pro bowler.
