Jets Cut Braylon Edwards

Former Michigan star Braylon Edwards has been cut by the New York Jets. The receiving star re signed with the Jets on the eve of training camp in Cortland, New York. Edwards was part of the Jets' last playoff team in 2010. The Jets also cut veteran kick returner Joe McKnight. The Jets say injured quarterback Mark Sanchez will not play in this week's final pre season game but hope to have him for the regular season opener after he injured his shoulder in a game against the New York Giants Saturday night.
