Lansing Sexton High School senior Jalen Hayes signed to play basketball next year at Oakland University in Rochester. Former Sexton star Drew Valentine is currently on the Oakland roster. Hayes has been a part of two straight state title winning teams at Sexton. He makes six Sexton players currently with division one basketball scholarships. Another current Sexton star, Trevor Manuel, is being heavily recruited by schools including Michigan State and is currently a junior.
