On a day when Justin Verlander and Tony Romo agreed to massive contract raises, the San Francisco Giants have come to terms with catcher Buster Posey on a nine year deal. It's worth $165 million. Posey earned National League most valuable player honors last season and won the batting title. He has a full no trade clause. The deal is the longest for a catcher and the largest in Giants' history, surpassing Matt Cain's $127.5 million six year deal signed before the start of last season.
