Sports Business Journal named Michigan State's Mark Hollis national athletic director of the year Monday at a presentation in New York. Hollis was named over four other finalists including Michigan's David Brandon. Hollis, 49, assumed MSU's athletic directorship January 1, 2008. He replaced the retiring Ron Mason.
