The proposed four game college basketball showcase in the Dallas Cowboys Stadium proposed for next Veteran's Day weekend has been called off. MSU athletic director Mark Hollis revealed the news in Tempe, Arizona where he is with the Michigan State football team at the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl. Hollis says too many issues cannot be worked out.
The idea was to have four games ongoing at the same time to begin next season. Hollis says he still wants to involve college basketball with Veteran's Day in some fashion.
