Hoke Says U- M QB Battle Wide Open

Michigan football coach Brady Hoke said Tuesday the starting quarterback job for the Wolverines this fall is "wide open." Hoke says regular Devin Gardner will be limited this spring after suffering a foot injury in the regular season finale against Ohio State. Sophomore Shane Morris started the Buffalo Wild Wings game against Kansas State in which Michigan lost 31-14. Ralph Bellomy, according to Hoke, is also in the mix. Michigan opens in late August at home against Appalachian State.
