Hebert Wins Michigan PGA

Traverse City's Scott Hebert shot a 68 Wednesday at the Oakland Universeity golf course in Rochester to win the Michigan PGA Championship. Hebert, who won for the 6th time in seven years, won $6,000. Hebert finished at 8 under par, good for a four shot win over Big Rapids' pro Ian Zilstra. T. J. Roberts of Walnut Hills Golf Club in East Lansing tied for 5th at one under par and won $862. Meridian Sun owner Bill Mory of Haslett shot 77, finishing 7 over par, tied for 26th place and won $561. The tournament covered 54 holes.
