Gus Malzahn New Coach at Auburn

Gus Malzahn is the new head football coach at Auburn. Malzahn led Arkansas State to a 9-3 record in his one season as head coach. Prior to that he spent three seasons as offensive coordinator at Auburn, including the 2010 year when the War Eagles won the national championship. Malzahn replaces the fired Gene Chizik. Auburn was 3-9 this season. Arkansas State faces Kent State in the Bowl next month and Kent State's coach, Darrell Hazell is leaving to take over at Purdue. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion.
