Green Has Knee Sprain

Michigan State announced Wednesday that basketball senior captain Draymond Green suffered a knee sprain in Tuesday night's 42-41 loss at Illinois. An MRI performed Wednesday morning revealed no tears in any area... Green is listed as day to day and there is no word about his status for Sunday's 1pm home game against Michigan. The Spartans now have a 6-3 Big Ten record with 9 games remaining and are 17-5 overall. Green was injured with 3:54 to play and did not return and left Assembly Hall on crutches.
