The New York Mets reportedly are in negotiations with free agent outfielder Curtis Granderson, who turns 33 next March. Granderson wants a four year deal which the Mets may end up giving him. Granderson only had 245 plate appearances last season after hitting 41 home runs in 2011 and 43 home runs in 2012. He is a former Detroit Tiger centerfielder before being traded to the New York Yankees.
