NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said Thursday that he thinks replacement referees in regular season games would do "a very credible job." Goodwell went on to say in New York that replacement officials may be worthwile to ensure long term improvements to officiating. The regular season begins on September 6th and replacement refs have worked all of the pre season games.
