Franchitti Wins Toronto Pole

Dario Franchitti has won the p;ole for the first of two weekend races through the streets of Toronto. Franchitti is coming off his first podium finish of the year Sunday at Pocono and hoped to us some momentum at Toronto. But he had a small crash in the Friday morning practice session, and his Target Chip Ganassi crew had to hustle to repair his car in time for qualifying.
Franchitti responded with three flawless qualifying sessions to take the top starting spot in Saturday's race. Sebastien Bourdais was second in his first apperance in the Fast Six this year. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion. Please respect and abide by the house rules:
