Former Spartan Pees Promoted by Ravens
He coached with Saban in mid 90s in East Lansing

The NFL Baltimore Ravens Friday promoted linebackers coach Dean Pees to defensive coordinator. Pees replaces Carl Pagano, who left to become head coach of the Indianapolis Colts. Pees, in his long career, was an assistant at Michigan State from 1995-97 under Nick Saban.
