Former Spartan Dennis "Skip" Macholz lost his long battle with cancer on Tuesday. He was a 3-year letter winner from 1970-72 and played both offensive line and tight end for legendary head coach Duffy Daugherty.
After his playing career he was an analyst for WJIM, PASS-TV and hosted a radio show with George Blaha.
