Former Waverly Player Signs With Bradley

Former Waverly High School basketball player Auston Barnes has signed to play at Bradley. Barnes, a 2010 Waverly graduate, signed originally with Central Michigan, then transferred to Odessa College in Odessa, Texas. There he averaged 8.9 points per game this past season. Barnes shot 56.8 per cent from the field, helping his team to a 25-8 record. Barnes played at Waverly for coach Craig Fields who says Barnes did not even begin playing basketball until his junior year of high school.
