Former Spartan Tropp Signs With Buffalo

Former Michigan State hockey player Corey Tropp has re signed a one year deal with the NHL's Buffalo Sabres. Tropp was their 2007 third round draft pick. Tropp suffered a serious knee injury while playing at minor league Rochester of the AHL last season. Tropp was limited to playing in just six games, in which he had two goals and two assists. Tropp has been called up to Buffalo five times and has three goals and five assists in 34 NHL games. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion.
