Former Spartan Kennedy Signs With Phoenix

Former Michigan State hockey star Tim Kennedy has signed a one year, two way contract with the NHL's Phoenix Coyotes. Kennedy scored two goals in 13 games with the San Jose Sharks last season, spending most of his teim with Worcester of the AHL. Kennedy, now 27, has played in parts of five NHL seasons with 13 goals and 18 assists. Kennedy scored a key goal in MSU's 2007 NCAA title game against Boston College.
