Former Central Michigan University basketball star Dan Roundfield has drowned while swimming off the Caribbean island of Aruba. Roundfield and his wife reportedly were caught in strong currents Monday while swimming beyond a protected reef area on the southeastern tip of the island. Roundfield helped his wife to safety but then the current swept away the 59-year old former NBA All Star. Roundfield was named to the All Star teams in 1980, 81 and 82 when he played for the Atlanta Hawks.
