The East Lansing High School inaugural sports hall of fame class will be inducted June 15th. It begins at 7pm that day at Eagle Eye Golf Club. Money raised that night will help offset the increasing costs of high school sports at the school. The first class features Todd Martin, Art Brandstatter, Jr., Steve Maidlow, Randy Kinder, Jack Zindel, Andrew Wells, Judi Brown Clarke, Shirley Lynch and Christine Cleland Hursey. The team inductees are the 1958 boys basketball team and the 1973-78 girls state swim champions. Coach inductees are June and George Szypula and Gus Ganakas.
