ESPN Lands Broadcast Rights To Championship Games

ESPN has landed the rights for the new BCS football playoff format which begins after the 2014 season and involves four teams. In addition, ESPN will carry the semi-finals and all the bowls that normally carry the semi-finals even in years when those bowls are not involved with the playoffs. It's a 12-year deal and terms were not announced. ESPN currently carries the national championship game-- for this season that will be at 8:30pm on January 7th from Miami.
