Dodgers Sign Brian Wilson

Media reports indicate free agent relief pitcher Brian Wilson has agreed to terms on a $10 million, one year contract to stay with the Los Angeles Dodgers, a deal that is pending a physical. Wilson went 2-1 with a 0.66 earned run averag ein 18 appeareances over 13 2/3 innings this year after missing almost the entire 2012 season due to Tommy Johns surgery. He was the 2010 major league saves leader with 48. Wilson negotiated with the Detroit Tigers at times during the off season but the Tigers eventually came to terms with Joe Nathan as their closer on a two year contract. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion.
