Dickey Wins 20th Game For Mets

New York Mets pitcher R. A. Dickey struck out 13 Pittsburgh Pirates in 7 2/3 innings Friday and won his 20th game of the season. The Mets beat the Pirates 6-5. Dickey is the first knuckleballer to win 20 games in more than three decades. He is now 20-6 on the season and he had never won more than 11 games in any previous season. He is the first major leaguer this season to win 20 games. Dickey is 37 years old.
