ESPN is reporting Thursday that former Michigan State star lineman Joe DeLamielleure is suffering from early symptoms of CTE. It is a braini disorder which former NFL players struggle with after suffering concussions. DeLamielleure, 62, played at Michigan State from 1970-72 and then 13 years in the NFL. He is a hall of famer. DeLamielleure has long been an advote for financial help for medial matters to former players who struggle from injuries suffered during their playing careers and no longer have the funds available to fight their various ailments. DeLamielleure reportedly says he struggles with mood swings and occasional depression. DeLamielleure took part in a three month study of brain injuries with other players.
