Dantonio Mum On Starting QB This Saturday

Michigan State football coach Mark Dantonio said Tuesday he'll wait until later in the week to decide on a starting quarterback for the Spartans' home game Saturday against South Florida. Dantonio says all quarterbacks are under evaluation. Andrew Maxwell and Connor Cook both struggled in the opener against Western Michigan last Friday. Plenty of tickets remain for the South Florida game which begins at noon and will be televised on ESPN U. The Spartans are 23 1/2 point favorites. They are unranked in this week's Associated Press poll. South Florida lost its home opener to McNeese State 53-21.
