Okemos High School boys basketball coach Dan Stolz told News 10 Thursday night he is stepping down after 18 seasons. Stolz is undecided about staying on as golf coach for the boys and girls teams, other duties he currently holds. Stolz coached Okemos 18 seasons and spent 31 years on the staff. His dad Stan coached the 26 seasons prior to that meaning a Stolz coached Okemos basketball the past 44 years. Stolz' 2006 team made it to the class A state finals before losing in double overtime to Saginaw Arthur Hill 85-83. His 2012 team made it to the class A quarter-finals before losing to Rockford, 56-51.
