Cubs After Girardi?

ESPN is reporting Wednesday that the Chicago Cubs want to make a serious offer to New York Yankees manager Joe Girardi. He becomes a free agent October 31st although the Yankees are negotating with Girardi's agent on a new deal. The Cubs fired Dave Sveum on Monday and they have lost attendance for five consecutive seasons. Girardi, 48, made $3 million this last season.
