Former Spartan Le'Veon Bell's debut with the Pittsburgh Steelers Monday night lasted four carries and nine yards. Then Bell left the game at Washington against the Redskins to a foot injury, not to return. No word on the extent of his injury. Former Spartan Kirk Cousins also suffered a second quarter foot injury for the Redskins' on a run play that went out of bounds. He left the game for Rex Grossman not to return. Cousins was starting in place of Robert Griffin III. He reportedly has a sprain. Neither was to return the remainder of the game.
