YPSILANTI, Mich. (AP) -- Ryan Radcliff passed for 284 yards and two touchdowns and Zurlon Tipton surpassed 1,000 yards rushing for the season as Central Michigan defeated Eastern Michigan 34-31 Saturday.
Radcliff threw TDs of 10 and 14 yards to Andrew Flory, who had nine catches for 188 yards for the Chippewas (4-6, 2-4 Mid-American). Tipton added an 11-yard TD run and 110 yards rushing -- giving him 1,093 for the year, which is the most at Central Michigan since quarterback Dan LeFevour totaled 1,122 in 2007.
Quarterback Alex Gillett had 162 yards rushing and two touchdowns for Eastern Michigan (1-9, 0-6), which led 14-0 in the first quarter. He was also 7 of 17 passing for 77 yards and a touchdown.
The Chippewas trailed 21-10 early in the third quarter before TDs by Tipton and Flory and a 49-yard interception return for a score by Kavon Frazier put them ahead for good.
