Brooklyn, MI - Some Rock Star power will be on display at the upcoming Pure Michigan 400 race at the Michigan International Speedway. Michigan's own Kid Rock will be the race's grand marshal. The NASCAR Sprint Cup race takes place Sunday, August 19. Track President Roger Curtis said, "He has been a great ambassador for the state of Michigan and it is exciting to have him start the race at the fastest track in NASCAR. We are looking forward to an outstanding Pure Michigan 400."
