Calhoun To Step Down At UConn?

Media reports indicate Wednesday night that veteran U Conn men's basketball coach Jim Calhoun will announce his retirement Thursday. The 70-year old Calhoun has been battling health issues. He has been U Conn's head coach for 26 seasons and has won three NCAA titles.
U Conn opens the season in Germany November 9th against Michigan State. Veteran assistant Kevin Ollie is expected to be named as Calhoun's replacement.
