Broncos Cut McGahee

The NFL's Denver Broncos have released veteran running back Willi\s McGahee and will absord his $2.5 million salary. McGahee, coming off a knee injury last season, had skipped OTA's since last season ended. He did report for mandatory mini camp this week.
Former Wisconsin standout Montee Ball, a rookie, could get the bulk of the running load this fall. McGahee ran for 1,199 yards in 2011 and scored four touchdowns for the Broncos and made the Pro Bowl for the second time in his nine year NFL career.
