Boss Says He May Lose Garner

Michigan State baseball coach Jake Boss said Monday he doubts his team will be chosen for the 64-team NCAA field. The Spartans missed the six team Big Ten tournament which bewgins Wednesday in Minneapolis. The major league draft is next month and juniors can be chosen. Boss says the Spartans may well lose their number two starting pitcher David Garner, who Boss believes is good enough to be prominently drafted. MSU finishes the season with a 33-17 record, 12-9 in the Bigt Ten and good enough for seventh place. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion.
