Blockbuster Trade for Detroit Tigers

Minutes before Thursday's 4pm trade deadline the Detroit Tigers acquired starting pitcher David Price from the Tampa Bay Rays in a three team deal that included the Seattle Mariners. The addition of Price gives the Tigers' starting rotation the last three Cy Young award winners-- Justin Verlander and Max Scherzer being the other two. The Tigers sent starter Drew Smyly to Tampa Bay and centerfielder Austin Jackson to the Mariners to complete the deal. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion.
