Big East is Reborn

By  |

The Big East Conference was reborn Wednesday. Creightbon, Butler and Xavier announced they'd join the seven Catholic schools who pulled out of the old Big East to form a new league. The ten schools become one conference formally on July 1st. They keep the same conference name and the Big East basketball tournament will continue to be played at Madison Square Garden in New York. And the league has signed a 12-year television deal with Fox Sports.
