MELBOURNE, Australia (AP) -- The final pairing is set for the men's division at the Australian Open. Andy Murray filled out the bracket today when he eliminated Roger Federer in five sets. Murray will face two-time defending champion Novak Djokovic (NOH'-vak JOH'-kuh-vich) in Sunday's final.
MELBOURNE, Australia (AP) -- The women's title match at the Australian Open will be contested early Saturday morning, U.S. time. Sixth-seed Li Na (lee nah) is facing defending champ Victoria Azarenka (ah-zah-REN'-kuh). The men's doubles final is also coming up with American brothers Bob and Mike Bryan going for their 13th Grand Slam title.
PARIS (AP) -- Venus Williams lost in straight sets to Maria Sharapova (shah-rah-POH'-vah) in the third round of the Australian Open. She has now announced that, because of a back injury, she will not be able to compete in next week's Open GDF Suez tournament and the upcoming Fed Cup against Italy.
