Another Job For John L

Posted: Wed 4:20 PM, Jan 16, 2013

Former Michigan State football coach John L. Smith is the new head coach at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. Smith, 64, was fired after one season at Arkansas where his team had a 4-8 record and replaced him with Wisconsin's Bret Bielema. One of Smith's players will be Arthur Ray, an offensive lineman who had transferred in from Michigan State. Ray had battled cancer during his MSU days but still wants to play.
