Two time defending state champion Waterford Our Lady defeated Portland St. Patrick's Thursday night in the class D semi-finals of the girls' state high school basketball tournament in Breslin Center. The final score was 54-44. St. Pat's trailed 24-20 at halftime and never led in the second half. St. Pat's, who did not have a player in double figures, shot a mere 28.6 per cent from the field and finishes the season with an 18-7 record.
