Alayne Ingram New Sexton Girls' Coach

The Lansing School District Wednesday named former Waverly High School star Alayne Ingram as the new girls head coach at Sexton High School in basketball. Ingram was drafted by the WNBA Sacramento Monarchs in 2002 following her serving as captain at Michigan. She scored more than 1,400 points in college and she was an assistant coach for the women's team at Occidental College in Los Angeles. Ingram was Waverly's all time girls scoring leader. She currently works as a marketinc oordinator at Lansing Community College and her dad, Mike, is the men's head coach at LCC.
