By a unanimous vote Wednesday morning, the Michigan State University Board of Trustees approved Mark Hollis to the school's next Athletic Director.
The 43 year old Hollis has been a senior associate to retiring Athletic Director Ron Mason. Mason will likely step aside next summer, but remain with MSU through the end of the year to hellp with the transition.
Hollis is an MSU alum and began his athletic department career back in 1982 as a basketball team manager to Jud Heathcote.
